GITomicsDB:GastroIntestinal Tract spatial and single-cell transcriptomic DataBase
GITomicsDB

We constructed a gastrointestinal (GI) cell atlas that incorporates both single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) and Stereo-seq data, comprising 935,984 cells and six Stereo-seq sections across ten species and four organ systems. The scRNA-seq data were obtained from ten vertebrates, including lamprey (agnathan; integrated GI tract), white-spotted bamboo shark (Chondrichthyes; intestine/stomach), alligator gar (Holostei; intestine/stomach), African lungfish (Sarcopterygii; intestine with lymph nodes/degenerated stomach), marine medaka (Teleostei; spiral intestine/degenerated stomach), and mammals (complex intestine/stomach). And the Stereo-seq data were from the stomach and intestine of three phylogenetically key species (white-spotted bamboo shark, gray bichir and African lungfish).
